The
** Revenue Cycle Representative II
** is part of the
** Patient Access Department
** and is a
** full-time role working approximately 80 hours per two-week pay period**. This position includes
** weekend and holiday responsibilities**. The Revenue Cycle Representative II serves as a welcoming first point of contact for patients while supporting registration, admissions, and revenue cycle processes. This role ensures accurate patient information, efficient workflow, and a positive patient experience through strong communication, organization, and customer service.###
** Qualifications
* ** High school graduate or equivalent required
* Excellent interpersonal, intrapersonal, oral, and written communication skills
* Strong customer service skills with a professional and welcoming demeanor
* Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Above average typing and computer skills required
* Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance processes preferred
* Strong organizational and prioritization skills in high-stress situations
* Highly motivated with the ability to manage frequent interruptions and competing demands
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
* Experience with
** EPIC
* * preferred###
** Key Responsibilities
*** Serve as a welcoming presence in the registration area, providing excellent customer service to patients and visitors
* Interview patients upon admission and accurately enter required demographic and insurance information into the system
* Obtain necessary patient documentation and scan items such as , insurance cards, consent forms, and advance directives
* Maintain departmental logs and ensure accurate recordkeeping
* Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and other patient access functions as assigned
* Answer telephones and manage incoming messages and requests professionally and efficiently
* Assist patients with financial assistance applications, payment plans, and posting payments to patient accounts
* Maintain strict confidentiality while ensuring accuracy and quality of work
* Collaborate with team members to support efficient department operations and patient flow
