Direct Support Professional (DSP

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Care Core at Heritage is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and energetic individuals to join our team of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in our Intermediate Care Facility (ICF).
No prior experience or certification is required - we provide comprehensive training upon hire!

Position Details:

• Job Type: Part time First shift: 5:30am-9:30am & 6:00am
  -2:00pm
• Part Time Second Shift 2:00pm-10:00pm
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend. Hours may vary based on workshop schedules.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with daily living tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Teach basic money management and healthy relationship habits.
• Encourage positive social skills and provide support for community outings.
• Facilitate safe transportation for social, medical, and developmental needs.
• Complete required documentation and deliver outlined support services.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment.
• Advocate for clients with disabilities, empowering them to exercise their rights and actively participate in their community.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• No STNA license is required; training is provided.
