- Develop strong expertise in anti-infectives/antibiotics, including mechanism of action, resistance patterns, treatment guidelines, and clinical data.
- Provide high-quality scientific support: to internal teams (marketing, sales, market access) and external stakeholders.
- Stay updated on emerging resistance trends, stewardship practices, and hospital protocols.
- Support development and delivery of scientific training programs: for internal stakeholders.
- Conduct 7–8 days/month of field visits: to engage with KOLs, infectious disease specialists, and hospital pharmacists.
- Drive scientific discussions: on antibiotic usage, resistance, and appropriate patient selection.
- Support pre-launch and launch activities: through scientific positioning of products.
- Gather insights from field interactions: to refine medical and brand strategies.
- Education:
MBBS / MD / PharmD / PhD - Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Affairs, specifically in Anti-infectives / Antibiotics. Hospital-focused roles preferred. Experience in launch support or pre-launch activities is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of antibiotic therapy and resistance mechanisms.
- Proven ability to engage with hospital KOLs and multidisciplinary stakeholders.
- Strong scientific communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate clinical data effectively.
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance frameworks.
