The Manager, Laboratory Critical Access is responsible for all areas of the Lab, including Chemistry, Hematology, Coagulation, Transfusion/Blood Bank, Urinalysis, Immunochemistry, Point of Care, Micro, Pathology, Reference Lab, and Phlebotomy for high and moderate complexity testing. The manager makes decisions independently and in collaboration with others. The position has direct patient contact and access to confidential employee, patient and financial information.

The Manager, Laboratory Critical access works closely with the Laboratory Medical Director and Pathologist to ensure appropriate testing, competency and quality control. The Manager Critical Access Laboratory is responsible for the technical and scientific oversight of the laboratory, daily operations, problem resolution, quality improvement, coordination of section and site functions, allocation of resources and staff development, performing and recording competency assessment, and compliance with all CAP/CLIA, regulatory, and Adena Health System policies and procedures.

Medically Technologist (MT)/Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology

5 years experience in a clinic laboratory with high complexity testing .

Bachelor's Degree Major/Area of Concentration:
Medical Laboratory Technology .
