Haven Home Care | Hiring Home Health Aides in Summit County, Ohio
We help older adults live 'd help with baths, getting dressed, meals, light cleaning, errands, and company. This is physical work — you're on your feet most of the day and you help people move around. No medical tasks — that's for nurses.
The pay:
- STNA license: $18/hour
- HHA certificate or experience: $16-18/hour (based on interview)
- Free training pathway: $16/hour
Paid every 2 weeks. Direct deposit. W-2 job. 10% extra on holidays. Plus performance raises and bonuses.
Four ways to qualify:
- STNA (active or expired): $18/hour. Ready in 1-3 days.
- HHA certificate (30+ hours): $16-18/hour. 5-8 days.
- 1+ year experience under an RN or LPN: $16-18/hour. 5-8 days after we verify.
- No experience? We train you free: $16/hour. 1-2 weeks. Can't prove your experience, or your certificate doesn't qualify? You're not turned away — you can still join through our free training. And your pay stays based on your interview ($16-18/hour), since you already have a care background.
What you need:
- Driver's license.
- Your own car with insurance that covers work driving.
- Pass background checks.
- Work at least 20 hours/week.
- Available 6AM-8PM (most work is 8AM-5PM).
- Legal right to work in the US.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
