Seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide patient treatment, exercise instruction, and education to enhance patient well-being within established care plans.
Key Duties Include- Following state laws and supervising PT's treatment plans, performing qualified procedures, and recommending care adjustments
- Instructing patients in exercises, gait, ADLs, transfers, safety, and prosthetic training
- Monitoring, recording, and reporting patient responses and condition changes to the healthcare team
- Educating patients, families, caregivers, and team members on therapy techniques within scope of practice
- Current licensure or certification in physical therapy assistance
- CPR certification
- Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, or access to reliable transportation
- Ability to work in diverse home environments and flexibility to work weekends
Ability to perform physical tasks like lifting, transferring, and mobility assistance.
