The Program Aid must be able to adequately perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. As such, no credentials or licensure are required.
The Program Aid shall:
Demonstrate a professional, respectful and informed approach in any client interactions
Provide support to housing staff
Share ideas on recovery management outside of billable services or HCBSDocument facility and resident activity in compliance with agency policy
Demonstrate cultural competency with consumer population
Perform light housekeeping and safety tasks
Work collaboratively with other staff
Provide/schedule transportation for residents and activities
Housing and grocery inventory
Monitor drugs Screens Qualification/Requirements High School Diploma/GED or plan to obtain within 6 months
Prior work experience in behavioral health and/or 12 Step Recovery preferred
Ability to maintain accurate and timely records CPR/First Aid Training Valid Ohio Driver’s License and insurability for certain positions
