FCHC Urology, General Surgery, OB/GYN - Receptionist

Fulton County Health Center is seeking a receptionist to join our team at FCHC Urology, FCHC General Surgery, and FCHC OB/GYN.

Key responsibilities include:

• Scheduling patient appointments and tests.
• Completing referrals and entering patient information.
• Collecting copays and obtaining necessary forms and signatures for treatment, release of information, and insurance precertifications.
• Operating a multi-line telephone system to answer incoming calls and direct callers appropriately.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology required.
• Previous physician office experience and Electronic Health Record (EHR) software experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and computer skills.
