Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage refractive errors and common ocular diseases
• Fit and evaluate contact lenses, including specialty lenses as needed
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and testing results (e.g., OCT, fundus photos, visual fields)
• Provide patient education on eye health, treatment options, and eyewear
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system
• Collaborate with optical staff and support teams to ensure seamless patient experience
• Co-manage surgical and specialty cases with ophthalmology and other providers
• Maintain high clinical standards and adhere to all regulatory and professional guidelines
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities
