Registered Nurse or Surgical Technician

The Surgical Technician / Registered Nurse position is part of the Surgery Department and is a full-time role working 80 hours per two-week pay period. Flexible daytime hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. The position includes on-call responsibilities, which include weekend and holiday coverage.

Qualifications Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program or equivalent experience (for Surgical Technicians)
ORActive Ohio Registered Nurse license required for RN candidatesBLS certification required

Previous operating room experience strongly preferred

Demonstrates initiative, enthusiasm, and professionalism

Key Responsibilities Provide perioperative patient care within the Surgery Department Perform all duties of a surgical scrub technician, including maintaining a sterile field, handling specimens properly, and assisting practitioners during procedures

Maintain proficiency in central supply and sterilization procedures and techniques

Assist in managing and maintaining surgical supplies and equipment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care Support teamwork, safety, and professional standards in the perioperative environment
