Edgewood Manor Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time Laundry Assistant to join our team!

Located in charming Port Clinton, Ohio
, Edgewood Manor is committed to providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our residents. Our Laundry team plays an important role in making our facility feel like home.

As a Laundry Assistant, you'll help ensure residents have clean clothing, linens, and other personal items available when they need them.

Responsibilities include:

• Washing, drying, folding, and organizing resident clothing and facility linens
• Properly labeling and distributing resident clothing and personal items
• Collecting soiled laundry and delivering clean laundry throughout the facility
• Operating washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely
• Keeping the laundry area clean, organized, and sanitary
• Following infection control and safety procedures
• Handling residents' personal belongings with care and respect
• Maintaining appropriate laundry supplies and notifying leadership when items need replenished
• Working cooperatively with Housekeeping, Nursing, and other departments
• Helping maintain a clean, comfortable environment for our residents

• Dependable and punctual
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently while also being part of a team
• Organized with good attention to detail
• Able to perform the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Previous laundry, housekeeping, healthcare, or long-term care experience is a plus, but not required
