An exciting career awaits you at Pomerene! We are looking for a full-time Dietary Associate to join our team. You would tentatively be scheduled for (3) 12-hour AM shifts per week and/or as needed to fill vacancies.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated associate to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Dietary Associate, you will perform a variety of duties in food service, meal delivery, ware washing, and general cleaning according to established standards, with the goals of providing high quality food service and achieving a positive dietary image in the perception of the patient, employee, and community.

Essential Functions:

• Moves throughout the facility and performs the physical requirements needed to deliver dietary services as assigned.
• Performs the manual and administrative responsibilities of this position according to hospital and department policy and procedure.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of patient diets and understands basic food service regulations.
• Works cooperatively with unit staff and ancillary departments.
• Demonstrates commitment to Pomerene Hospital's Values.
• Delivers service that builds customer satisfaction.
• Actively supports and encourages Primary Support Person (PSP) / Family involvement in patient's care, with consent of patient.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED - Required.
• 1-3 Years Experience as a Cook/Restaurant Worker in a Hospitality/Food Service Setting
  - Preferred.
• Serve Safe Certification
  - Preferred.
