JOB SUMMARY:

The Hospitality Ambassador acts as the primary host for customer groups coming into Versailles as part of the Midmark Experience. This role welcomes and assists customer groups during their visit to Midmark. This position will oversee and provide the needed hospitality to customer groups. This position will require contact with external and internal customers.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Welcomes, escorts, and assists with the arrival of guests at the experience center
  • Assists with the needs of all experience center suites and conference rooms by providing coffee, soft drinks, snacks and keeping the space clean and tidy throughout the day.
  • Performs regular checks of the Midmark experience center to ensure all equipment is clean and functioning. Ensures all venues are tidy and up to Midmark standards.
  • Sets up the suites within the experience center to customize for each group
  • Performs regular check ins with each group to see if there are any needs they might have
  • Maintains the design studio including ordering samples and literature
  • Stocks and maintains the lounge area within the experience center
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential

SECONDARY DUTIES:

  • Acts as the primary backup for the Hospitality Administrator
  • Assists in other areas within the hospitality team as assigned
  • Fills in for housekeeping as needed to ensure a clean environment for guests
  • Orders cleaning supplies as needed

EDUCATION and/or

EXPERIENCE:

High school Diploma or GED required. 1 - 2 years of hospitality experience preferred.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of the A/V and technical equipment throughout the experience center. Ability to troubleshoot and solve basic problems
  • Friendly personality, approachable, outgoing, assertive
  • Good organizational skills, self-starter, ability to prioritize, follow-up and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills (speaking, written)
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team
  • Flexible and resourceful at problem solving
  • Must be willing to train on other hospitality operating systems
  • Good technical and mechanical ability
  • Must thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
