Homestead Taproom & Kitchen is looking for an Assistant Hospitality Manager who loves taking care of guests, supporting a team, and creating memorable experiences.
We’re not a corporate restaurant, and we’re not looking for a manager who wants to sit in an office. We’re looking for a hospitality professional who enjoys being on the floor, engaging with guests, supporting the team, and helping create the welcoming atmosphere that Homestead is known for.
This is a unique hybrid position that combines hospitality leadership responsibilities with regularly scheduled tipped service shifts. You’ll spend part of your week leading operations, training and developing staff, and supporting management initiatives while also working directly with guests in a tipped service role. What You’ll Do Hospitality & Guest Experience- Help create exceptional guest experiences every day.
- Build relationships with regular guests and firsttime visitors alike.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and ensure positive outcomes.
- Lead by example in hospitality, professionalism, and service standards.
- Help create an environment where guests feel welcomed, appreciated, and excited to return.
- Support the General Manager and leadership team in daily operations.
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Coach and develop staff to improve performance and guest satisfaction.
- Help maintain accountability and a positive, teamfirst culture.
- Lead shifts and provide operational support during busy service periods.
- Assist with scheduling and labor management.
- Support cleanliness, organization, and facility standards.
- Help ensure service consistency and operational excellence.
- Assist with special events, promotions, and community engagement initiatives.
- Contribute ideas that improve guest experiences, sales, and team performance.
- Work scheduled service shifts alongside the team.
- Deliver outstanding hospitality and service.
- Build guest loyalty through genuine interactions and attention to detail.
- Serve as a role model for hospitality standards.
- Restaurant, hospitality, or customer service leadership experience preferred.
- Strong communication and relation shipbuilding skills.
- Positive attitude and teamfirst mindset.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem solving abilities.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Someone who enjoys leading from the front and isn’t afraid to jump in wherever needed.
- Guaranteed minimum annual compensation of $47,500.
- Compensation structure includes a combination of management pay and regularly scheduled tipped service shifts.

Hospitality happens when our guests are here, so flexibility is essential. This position requires availability during evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Regular weekend availability, including Sundays, is required. The Assistant Hospitality Manager is expected to be present during key business periods and will help lead service during some of our busiest and most important shifts.
