Human Resources Generalist - Moraine, OH

We are currently hiring for a Human Resources Generalist in Moraine, OH. If you meet these requirements, and believe you have a passion for making a real difference in an industry, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities Payroll & Benefits Administration
  • Manage end-to-end semi-monthly payroll processing in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Serve as the point of contact for payroll and benefit inquiries from employees.
  • Administer employee benefits programs including health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), leave programs, and open enrollment.
  • Partner with vendors and brokers to ensure accuracy of benefits data and resolve discrepancies.
  • Reconcile payroll and benefits deductions and support audits and reporting as needed.
Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment including job postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate communications.
  • Assist hiring managers with recruitment strategies and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
  • Lead the onboarding process from offer letter through new hire orientation and systems setup.
Immigration Support
  • Partner with legal counsel to manage and maintain employee work authorization.
  • Maintain immigration records and support compliance with immigration laws.
General HR Operations
  • Maintain HRIS and employee records ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
  • Support performance management cycles and training initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Assist with internal HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
Preferred

Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3+ years of HR experience with demonstrated expertise in payroll and benefits administration.
  • Experience with HRIS/payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycor, etc.).
  • Familiarity with U.S. immigration processes (H-1B, OPT/CPT, green cards).
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
