HR Director Job Summary

Sunrise Manor & Convalescent Center, a premier provider of long‑term and short‑term rehabilitation services in Amelia, Ohio, is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to fill the role of HR Director. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all human resources functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, payroll, and employee relations. Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee relations
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Administer benefits programs, including medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Manage payroll and other compensation related functions
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and development opportunities to employees
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that supports the mission and vision of the organization
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and seamless delivery of services
  • Drive the recruitment process to attract and retain top talent in the industry
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience as an HR/Payroll Specialist in a long‑term care setting
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail
  • Ability to implement and consistently administer programs, policies, and procedures
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
