, in partnership with a manufacturing organization, is seeking a skilled HR Manager
. This role is responsible for leading employee relations initiatives, ensuring employment law compliance, and partnering with plant leadership to drive employee engagement and culture transformation. The HR Manager will serve as a strategic business partner while overseeing key HR operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Partner with plant leadership to support business objectives and workforce initiatives
- Lead employee relations activities, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Administer leave programs, including FMLA and other employee leave processes
- Oversee workers' compensation cases and unemployment claim management
- Support legal employment matters, including EEOC complaints and employment-related litigation activities
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture improvement programs across the facility
- Supervise and develop HR team members while supporting payroll and HR operations
- dBachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fiel
- d4+ years of experience in an HR Manager rol
- eManufacturing industry HR experience, preferably within automotive manufacturin
- gExperience supporting hourly production work forces in a plant environmen
- tHands-on experience conducting employee investigations and managing disciplinary action
- sKnowledge of EEOC processes, employment law matters, and employment-related legal issue
- sExperience administering Workers' Compensation, FMLA, and leave management program
- sStrong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirement
- ed Experience partnering directly with Plant Managers and operational leadership tea
- ms Background leading culture transformation and employee engagement initiativ
- es Experience managing HR staff and developing team performan
- ce Knowledge of unemployment claims administration and related compliance process
- es Experience supporting non-union manufacturing faciliti
- es Track record of improving collaboration across Operations, Quality, Logistics, and other plant functio
- ns Experience implementing employee retention and workforce engagement progra
- ms Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SP
