Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Operations Manager
Interim HR Governance & Operations Specialist
Following a phase of significant organizational expansion, AGBS is now focusing on structural maturity and operational excellence. To support this journey, we are seeking an Interim HR Governance & Operations Specialist for a minimum of 7 months contract to strengthen our operational foundations.
In this role, you will be accountable for reviewing HR workflows against internal quality and governance standards. You will drive the transition of HR operations toward a standardized, scalable, and proactive function, ensuring internal controls are fully optimized for our current scale.

- Your Mission
- Governance & Process Alignment:
Lead internal governance reviews, proactively identifying and addressing process gaps to ensure alignment with corporate compliance standards. - Process Standardization:
Design and document clear, structured HR policies and workflows (from onboarding to offboarding) to elevate operational efficiency. - Payroll Control Frameworks:
Refine registry and validation workflows for monthly payroll inputs to strengthen internal controls and risk management. - Employee Relations Protocols:
Structure employee relations (ER) protocols and disciplinary processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to local labor laws. - Proactive
Risk Management:
Establish internal checkpoints within daily HR workflows, transitioning the department toward a proactive, risk-managed operating model.
- Our Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Experience:
4+ years of experience in HR Operations, HR Governance, or Internal HR Control/Audit environments, ideally within fast-paced or scaling companies. - The "Optimizer" Mindset:
Proven track record of evaluating existing HR processes and restructuring them to meet high compliance and efficiency standards. - Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of labour law frameworks, disciplinary procedures, and payroll control mechanisms. - Project Management
Skills:
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing and prioritizing multiple governance initiatives independently. - Availability:
Immediate or short-notice availability for a temporary contract.
