What You Will Do
  • Serve as the first point of HR contact for assigned locations—providing guidance, leadership, and hands‑on support to managers and employees.
  • Partner with leaders on organizational design, change management, and talent development initiatives.
  • Drive key HR programs such as succession planning, employee engagement, and recognition efforts.
  • Lead fair, thorough investigations and ensure compliance with all employment laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Analyze workforce trends and metrics (turnover, absenteeism, time‑to‑fill, etc.) to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations to ensure a positive and compliant employee experience.
  • Collaborate with Environmental Health & Safety and HR Shared Services teams to promote employee wellness and resolve escalated HR issues.
  • Participate in policy reviews, audits, and HR system improvements to enhance efficiency and consistency across sites.
  • Champion an inclusive culture and contribute to labor strategy and union avoidance efforts, where applicable.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or a multi‑site environment (or 4+ years in a generalist capacity).
  • Solid understanding of U.S. employment laws; multi‑state experience is a plus.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic initiatives with day‑to‑day HR operations.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills with all levels of the organization.
  • High integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset.
  • Willingness to travel up to 15% for supporting plant locations.
  • Experience with union environments heavily preferred.
