Summary

Responsible for completion of all duties related to the Employee Experience Center of Excellence (COE). Will provide resolution for employee relations issues, develop performance improvement plans, assist with the development of current talent to meet organizational goals, and handle employee activities from post-hire throughout the employment cycle.

Responsibilities
  • Model the standards of the Bank's Mission and Vision.
  • Demonstrate pledge values.
  • Manage employee relations issues, provide guidance on policy interpretation, and escalates complex cases.
  • Guide managers in the development and implementation of performance improvement plans to address underperformance and support employee development.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace environmental standards and address concerns related to health, safety, and sustainability.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding annual compensation processes, performance evaluations, and related HR programs.
  • Conduct deep-dive talent reviews and collaborate on workforce planning strategies to align talent with organizational goals.
  • Support business leaders to improve employee engagement, contributing to the creation and execution of action plans based on survey results.
  • Coordinate HR-related activities during building closures, including communication and employee support.
  • Provide guidance and support on general HR topics such as benefits, payroll, and policy questions.
  • Facilitate employee listening sessions to gather feedback and promote an open, inclusive workplace culture.
  • Represent the organization in unemployment hearings and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Respond to employment verification requests from prospective employers of former employees.
  • Manage resignation processes, conduct exit interviews, and evaluate counteroffer strategies when appropriate.
  • Answer communications, either phone or email, provide resolutions, answer questions, or escalates as needed meeting service level expectations.
  • Serve as backup to other team members as needed.
  • Work with HRIS team member or IT to resolve escalated issues with HRIS or other applications.
  • Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Commitment to acquire and maintain proficiency in the Bank's policies and procedures and adhere to all applicable laws, rules and regulations.
  • Complete all assigned compliance training in a timely manner.
  • Professional demeanor in appearance, interpersonal relations, work ethic and attitude.
  • Clear, concise, effective written and oral communication skills to express ideas to management, bank employees and bank customers in a collaborative manner.
  • Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization, including senior management, the branch network, other departments and vendors.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to define and solve problems.
  • Team player with a positive outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and meet communicated deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to learn HRIS system and other applicable software or applications.
  • Four-year bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field or a minimum of 4 years related experience; or equivalent combination of 4 years of education and experience.
  • Minimum of two years of Human Resources experience required; experience in the Employee Relations field desired.
Preferred Qualifications

Leadership skills preferred. HR Certification preferred.
