SSC Space is a leading global provider of advanced space services, with more than 50 years of experience. We help space organizations, research institutes, commercial and institutional actors from all over the world to get access to space. With local presence on all continents and over 800 employees, we offer specialist expertise in satellite communications and satellite control services, spacecraft operations, rocket and balloon systems, launch services and flight test services, as well as engineering, operations and consultancy services for space missions.

We enable successful space projects within Earth observation, telecommunications, security, meteorology, navigation and positioning, scientific research and other applications. Among our strongest assets are Esrange Space Center in northern Sweden, set out to become first to launch satellites from mainland Europe, as well as one of the world’s largest commercial ground station networks for satellite communications.

We are now looking for an experienced and business-oriented HR Manager for our Engineering Services Business Area to play a key role in driving our people agenda across a growing international business area.

In this position, you will be a trusted partner to senior leaders, a member of the Engineering Services Leadership Team and the HR Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CHRO. You will lead HR through both strategy and execution—supporting operations across Germany, Netherlands, Spain and Italy, driving organizational development, attracting top engineering talent, and leading HR teams in Germany and the Netherlands.

To thrive in this role, you are an experienced HR leader with a strong business mindset and the ability to build trust and influence at all levels of an international organization. You combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on approach and are energized by working in a dynamic, technology‑driven environment. We believe you bring:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• Extensive experience in senior HR roles within complex international and matrix organizations.
• Broad HR expertise across the employee lifecycle combined with deep competence in one or more specialist areas, such as talent acquisition, organizational development, talent management, HR digitalization, or people analytics.
• A strong track record of partnering with senior leaders and translating business needs into effective people strategies.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed HR teams, providing strategic direction, coaching and support while fostering a positive and collaborative culture.
• Solid experience recruiting and assessing highly skilled professionals, ideally in technical or engineering-related fields, including managing recruitment during periods of rapid growth and high hiring demand.
• Strong knowledge of German labor law; experience supporting multiple European countries is an advantage.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to balance commercial priorities with people and organizational needs.
• Professional proficiency in both German and English.
