Senior / Principal Consultant Information Security

Our client is seeking an experienced information security consultant to lead and support projects across IT governance, risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity. You will work closely with clients to deliver practical solutions that enhance their security posture and ensure regulatory compliance.

• Lead and manage client engagements in IT governance, risk, compliance, and security domains.
• Design and implement strategies to reduce cyber risks and threats.
• Conduct gap assessments and assist with regulatory compliance initiatives, including frameworks like NIS2, KRITIS, and DORA.
• Review and evaluate IT-enabled business processes for risk, efficiency, and adherence to internal and external policies.
• Foster and maintain strong client relationships while supporting new business opportunities.
• Contribute to service portfolio development through innovation and teamwork.

• Proven experience in IT governance, risk, compliance, or information security consulting.
• Academic background or equivalent qualifications in IT, information security, or related fields.
• Relevant professional certifications or willingness to pursue them (e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, ISO 2700x, BSI-Grundschutz).
• Deep interest in topics such as cyber resilience, third-party risk, cloud governance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with technologies like SIEM or IAM is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to deliver under pressure.
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English.
