At Principle Business Enterprises (PBE), we believe better decisions start with better understanding. We’re seeking a Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics to help leaders across the organization turn data into insight, insight into action, and action into meaningful impact.

In this role, you will lead PBE’s business intelligence and analytics efforts, serving as a trusted partner to Finance, Operations, Sales, Product, R&D, and IT. You’ll combine hands‑on analytical work with coaching and guidance to elevate how data is used across the company. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving real business problems, bringing clarity to ambiguity, and helping others think more clearly with data.

You’ll lead a small, high‑trust BI & Analytics function while also mentoring analysts and data‑oriented partners across departments. In addition, you’ll help establish practical data standards and governance practices that improve confidence in our numbers without creating unnecessary complexity.

• Lead and prioritize business intelligence and analytics work to support the decisions that matter most across the organization.
• Partner directly with leaders and teams to frame business questions, design analyses, and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Personally lead or support complex, high‑impact analyses that influence strategy, performance, and resource allocation.
• Guide the development and evolution of dashboards, reports, and analytical models to ensure clarity, consistency, and decision relevance.
• Establish practical data definitions, metric standards, and data quality expectations to reduce conflicting metrics and improve trust in reporting.
• Partner with IT and system owners to improve data integrity, resolve inconsistencies, and strengthen sources of truth.
• Coach and mentor analysts and data‑oriented team members across functions, modeling strong analytical thinking and clear communication.
• Support responsible and effective use of analytics and AI tools to improve insight while managing risk.

• 7+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, insights, or decision support roles.
• Demonstrated success influencing business decisions through analysis, not just reporting.
• Strong analytical judgment, including comfort with variability, interpretation, and statistical thinking.
• Experience coaching or mentoring analysts or business partners.
• Clear, practical communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
• A business‑minded, curious approach with the ability to navigate ambiguity and move from questions to clarity.

• Experience establishing or improving data governance or data quality practices.
• Familiarity with BI and reporting workflows and modern analytics tools.
• Experience partnering with IT or data teams to improve data reliability.
• Exposure to manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or finance environments, or the ability to learn them quickly.
