Empower SME

We are seeking an experienced Empower Subject Matter Expert (SME) to conduct a comprehensive operational review and provide strategic guidance on system optimization. The consultant will evaluate how the client is currently leveraging the Empower Loan Origination System from a Correspondent lending perspective and determine whether workflows, configurations, and data intake processes align with best practices and business objectives.

This engagement will focus on identifying system inefficiencies, recommending improved configuration strategies, and ensuring the platform is being utilized effectively to support current and future production needs.

• Conduct a detailed assessment of the client’s current use of Empower (Correspondent channel).
• Evaluate system configuration, workflow design, and data ingestion processes.
• Determine whether the system is being leveraged optimally based on the client’s business model and operational needs.
• Identify gaps between current practices and industry best practices.
• Perform a formal gap analysis and document findings.
• Deliver comprehensive findings report and strategic recommendation plan, including alternative configuration or workflow solutions where appropriate.
• Provide expert-level guidance on Correspondent channel functionality and best practices within Empower.

• Deep subject matter expertise in Empower LOS, specifically from a Correspondent lending perspective
  .
• Proven experience analyzing and optimizing system workflows and configurations.
• Strong understanding of loan data structure, integrations, and operational processes within Empower.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Construction loan programs
  • DSCR (Debt Service Coverage Ratio) loan products
• Demonstrated ability to conduct operational assessments and deliver actionable recommendations to executive stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and presentation skills.

• Strategic thinker who can bridge technology and operations.
• Experienced in advising clients on LOS best practices and system optimization.
• Comfortable working independently in a consultative capacity.
• Able to quickly assess complex environments and provide clear, practical solutions.
