Whitaker Networks is currently searching for a full‑time experienced Systems Administrator who enjoys owning environments, solving real‑world problems, and working directly with clients to keep their systems secure, stable, and improving.

Bachelor’s Degree is helpful, but equivalent experience is acceptable.

• Three or more years of hands‑on Systems Administration experience, preferably in an MSP environment
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365
• Working knowledge of virtualization platforms and networking fundamentals
• Experience supporting cloud services, especially Microsoft 365
• Comfort working directly with clients and managing multiple environments
• Ability to prioritize, self‑direct, and make sound technical decisions
• Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, or similar are a plus!

• Own and manage Windows‑based client environments including servers, networks, and core applications
• Design, improve, and maintain infrastructure
• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper‑V
• Support and optimize Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
• Configure and manage firewalls, switches, and network infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex issues across multiple clients with varying priorities
• Implement security best practices including patching, backups, and access controls
• Communicate clearly with clients, translating technical decisions into business impact
• Document systems and processes so knowledge is shared
• Collaborate with internal team members on architecture improvements and tooling
