Systems Administrator Security Clearance

Seeking a highly qualified Senior Systems Administrator to join a mission-focused team that maintains applications, services, microservices, Platform as a Service (PaaS), and support services. The effort requires the maintenance and enhancement of an application and underlying services/microservices’ application’s current capability while identifying future capability needs and eliminating overlaps. The team will continuously improve sustainment and development in order to reinvest resources to provide new capabilities and improve the effectiveness, quality, and robustness of the underlying technology.

Our applications are focused on intelligence analysis and collection management directly supporting intelligence analysts and operators across the intelligence community and Combatant Commands.

The Systems Administrator is responsible for providing support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remains involved in the resolution process. Provide in-depth experience in troubleshooting IT systems. Configure and manage UNIX and Windows (or other applicable) operating systems and installs/loads operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Provide detailed analysis and feedback to agency management and internal customers for escalated tickets. Provide support to IT systems including day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all of the client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc. Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems. Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

Optimize system operations and resource utilization, and perform system capacity analysis and planning. In addition, responsible for the design and implementation of systems, mission architecture and associated hardware. Possess an expert working knowledge and understanding of system administration interdependencies as part of the Service Oriented Architecture (SOA). Can analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications and software integration.

• Perform systems administration of desktop and server systems connected to local and wide area networks.
• Desktop system management responsibilities involving account monitoring, security, OS installation, and other local area system administration related functions.
• Provide support for the implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
• Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
• Participate in developing and delivering training as requested by the government to support applications.
• Provide day‑to‑day operations, monitoring and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 problem identification, diagnosis and resolution.
• Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.

• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems.
• Install and load operating system and application software.
• Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems involving the applications, operating system, hardware, communications infrastructure, or combinations thereof.
• Configure network components and implement operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
• Integrate new technologies into new and existing systems, including the transition and migration of corporate systems.

• Active TOP SECRET/SCI with a CI polygraph test.
• Must be DoD 8570 compliant at IA Technical (IAT)/IA Management (IAM) Level 2.
• Experience working on a development team under DoD/DIA Dev Sec Ops  process.
• Experience with multiple configuration management tools and resources.
