OverviewTEKsystems is in need of a Desktop Support Technician to assist with a large enterprise‑wide device refresh initiative. This role is fully on‑site and focuses on imaging, deploying, and supporting Windows‑based devices. The technician will work directly with end users across all levels of the organization, providing hardware troubleshooting, break/fix support, and excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Image, configure, and deploy Windows 10/11 devices using established tools and processes.
- Perform deskside support, including hardware troubleshooting, repair, and replacement.
- Provide customer‑facing support for end users across all departments and technical skill levels.
- Assist with device refresh activities, workstation setup, and peripheral installation.
- Use an ITSM ticketing system to log, track, and resolve incidents.
- Support basic application and operating system issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth execution of refresh schedules.
- Maintain professionalism and clear communication in all user interactions.
- Experience with Windows 10/11 support.
- Imaging and deployment experience.
- Hardware troubleshooting and break/fix skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems.
- Ability to think through issues and work directly with end users.
- Experience with endpoint management tools.
- Knowledge of productivity suites and common business applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts.
- On‑site, Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.
- Collaborative team with long‑term project stability.
This is a Contract position based out of Dayton, OH.
Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
