Responsibilities
  • Network Deploy Technician role within infrastructure operations, working with minimum supervision in a dynamic environment to drive stability and scalability of next-generation networks.
  • Scale support of several data center locations and assist in capacity management; collaborate with internal customers and external vendors to facilitate project execution as directed by Network Leadership and Technical Project Managers.
  • Leverage experience supporting large-scale, enterprise-class networks, including network implementation and troubleshooting; establish and refine operational procedures and best practices.
  • Manage work and priorities through ticketing systems and workflows to complete customer requests and projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to remove project obstacles; troubleshoot networking, routing, and interconnectivity issues (patch panels and patch cords).
  • Specify power and cooling requirements and ensure hardware racking/stacking for new equipment; participate in migration, basic configuration, and rollout of new or upgraded hardware.
  • Travel within and outside regional work areas as required; maintain reliable personal vehicle and valid driver’s license for regional travel.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of computer hardware troubleshooting and repair experience
  • 1+ years of computer networking experience
  • High school or equivalent diploma
Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
  • Experience with tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters
  • Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF)

The starting pay for this position is listed below. Final starting pay will be based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
