Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary customer‑facing point of contact for security and compliance inquiries across EMEA, including participation in customer meetings, audits, and executive engagements to explain Omnissa’s security controls, certifications, and compliance posture.
- Respond to customer assurance requests, including due diligence inquiries, security questionnaires, RFPs, and contract‑related security reviews, providing clear and accurate guidance on Omnissa products and cloud services.
- Develop and maintain deep expertise in European regulatory, security, and compliance frameworks, and assess how Omnissa’s existing controls, certifications, and product capabilities align with customer and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze customer‑driven compliance requirements by reviewing agreements, security addenda, and regulatory obligations; evaluate feasibility, scope, cost, effort, and business impact; and identify gaps, risks, or constraints with recommended mitigation or risk acceptance strategies.
- Partner closely with Legal, Security, Engineering, Product, Compliance, Sales, and Field teams to ensure customer commitments are accurately represented, achievable, and consistently communicated.
- Identify, assess, and communicate security and compliance risks arising from customer engagements; escape issues as appropriate and support informed decision‑making.
- Provide executive‑level visibility by preparing summaries and reports on customer assurance trends, compliance posture, and risk themes, and act as a trusted subject‑matter expert during leadership reviews.
- Support broader compliance and assurance initiatives by contributing subject‑matter expertise to planning, vendor interactions, and third‑party assurance efforts, while owning outcomes for assigned customer assurance engagements.
- 5 years of experience in European software compliance, cloud security, risk management, or customer assurance
- 3+ years of experience working cross‑functionally and managing stakeholder relationships in large or complex organizations
- Strong familiarity with European compliance and regulatory frameworks, including ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 9001, SOC 2 TypeII, PCI‑DSS
4.0, GDPR and national privacy frameworks, Common Criteria, UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) guidance, DORA, TISAX, ACN – Italy, ENS – Spain - Experience working in a cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure), software/technology company, systems integrator, government agency, or security/compliance consulting firm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex security topics to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Proven ability to influence without authority and drive outcomes in a highly matrixed environment
- Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced setting
- Experience using program and project management tools (e.g., Excel, Smartsheet)
- Hands‑on experience with enterprise productivity and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and cloud technology principles
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CCSP, or other security/compliance‑related credentials
- Experience creating, editing, and maintaining customer‑facing security and compliance documentation
