Position Overview

Dev Ops Engineering Support who is responsible for supplementing the Dev Ops team working to accelerate delivery speed and improve system reliability. They will automate infrastructure, manage CI/CD pipelines, and monitor system performance to ensure seamless deployment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and/or appropriate comparable discipline or 3 + years Dev Ops experience.
  • Proficient background in CI/CD Process & Methods.
  • Proficient experience with Dev Ops Tools:
    Git Hub, Docker Containers, AWS, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipeline development (yaml, groovy).
  • Proficient experience in at least one of the following languages:
    Python, Java, Kotlin, Groovy, Bash.
  • Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Infrastructure as Code (Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, Terraform, Ansible), and writing automation scripts.
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with a variety of people and job functions.
  • Basic project management skills and ability to determine a project timeline.
  • Developed organizational skills to prioritize workload and accomplish tasks to defined project timeline.
  • Ability to follow up effectively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Can generate creative solutions to problems and is open to trying different and novel approaches.
  • Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships. Works in teams to reach project goals in desired format.
  • Pays attention to detail and sets high personal goals or standards of performance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Linux-based development environments and build tooling.
  • Android application development experience using Gradle build systems.
  • Familiarity with the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) development environment.
  • Experience using Gerrit for source control and code review workflows.
  • Familiarity with embedded or hardware-integrated software builds.
  • Experience writing and maintaining build automation scripts, including Makefiles.
Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate testing and code deployment.
  • Create and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Dockerfiles, Docker Compose, AWS CDK, Terraform.
  • Deploy and optimize scalable applications on public clouds (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems; integrate security practices (Dev Sec Ops ).
  • Provide technical support and perform root cause analysis of system errors.
  • Understand requirements for project ideas and determine feasibility, helping to develop a solution if one doesn’t exist.
  • Create and maintain documentation for CI/CD process and tools on Linux.
  • Maintain existing infrastructure and running code services.
  • Manage Docker containers: writing startup scripts, creating and maintaining Docker images on Docker Hub and AWS, connecting to services (Git Hub, Gerrit, Jenkins, AWS).
  • Operate Linux/Red Hat fundamentals (file system, volumes, services, users, permissions, etc.), manage users, groups, security, plugins, updates, and server container connections.
  • Perform Jenkins configurations, Jenkins server administration, and work with enterprise IT to complete required tasks.
  • Manage IaC files and configuration, plugins, user database, and collaborate with enterprise IT on requirements and needs.
  • Keep container environment up-to-date and source controlled.
  • Ensure all running services remain operational and maintain Jenkins connectivity.
  • Support developers for automating, deploying, managing, and scaling infrastructure on AWS.
  • Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS Code Pipeline (Git Hub Actions), Code Build, and Code Deploy, storing artifacts in S3 and deploying build artifacts to services (EC2, Lambda, Amplify, etc.).
  • Provision and manage infrastructure using AWS Cloud Formation via Git Hub Actions for consistent, repeatable deployments.
  • Implement proactive monitoring using Amazon Cloud Watch and AWS XRay to track application performance, security, and uptime.
  • Ensure infrastructure meets security standards (PRISMA) and manage access, secrets, and compliance frameworks.
