Position Description Position Summary The Director, Enterprise Applications & Integrations is responsible for the vision, architecture, and continuous improvement of New River Electrical’s business systems landscape. This individual will lead the application strategy for both SaaS and custom-built applications, ensuring they align with broader business objectives and the distinct operational needs of both our corporate and field-based workforce.

A key focus of this role is assessing the current application portfolio and developing a roadmap for future-state systems, including the evaluation of ERP and other core platforms. This role requires a blend of high-level architectural thinking and execution, managing a mix of internal talent and external partners to deliver scalable, integrated solutions across all levels of the organization. Duties/Responsibilities Define and maintain a comprehensive multi-year application roadmap that supports NREC’s growth, security, and operational efficiency for both office and field environments.

Lead application architecture design, ensuring all systems (SaaS and custom) are scalable, secure, and interoperable across the enterprise. Establish governance and standards for application selection, deployment, and lifecycle management. Evaluate current business systems to identify gaps and opportunities for modernization, specifically focusing on bridging the gap between field-to-office workflows. Help lead the discovery and requirements-gathering phases for potential enterprise-scale system updates, including ERP and other core business applications.

Conduct "build vs. buy" analyses to ensure technology investments provide maximum value and alignment with NREC’s specialized operational requirements. Manage the delivery and maintenance of custom-built applications, ensuring high-quality code and alignment with specialized business workflows.

Establish best practices for API management and data integrity across the application portfolio. Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to automate workflows and accelerate the delivery of business applications.
