We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our IT department and support both office and field operations. This role is responsible for driving technology strategy, managing day‑to‑day IT operations, and ensuring systems, tools, and security measures enable productivity, collaboration, and growth across the organization.
What You’ll DoLead, mentor, and manage IT staff while overseeing daily department operations.
Develop and execute IT strategy aligned with business goals and jobsite productivity.
Recommend and implement technology solutions that improve efficiency and cost control.
Manage IT projects including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments.
Oversee infrastructure, networks, cloud systems, servers, and end‑user devices.
Ensure reliability of critical business applications (ERP, estimating, scheduling, project management, timekeeping).
Support field technologies including jobsite connectivity, GPS, telematics, reality capture, and survey tools.
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures (firewalls, MFA, device management, backups, disaster recovery).
Conduct security audits, ensure compliance, and train employees on cybersecurity best practices.
Provide IT support for office staff, field supervisors, and project managers.
Manage IT budget, vendors, contracts, and technology procurement.
What We’re Looking ForProven experience managing IT operations and staff in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and business applications.
Experience supporting both office and field technology environments.
Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in IT operations (required); construction or contracting industry experience preferred.
- 5+ years of management experience preferred.
Experience supporting mobile and distributed work forces.
Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
Strong knowledge of networking technologies including LAN/WAN, VPN, and wireless systems.
Familiarity with ERP and project management platforms used in contracting environments (e.g., Procore, Viewpoint, Trimble, Kronos, Autodesk, Bluebeam).
Strong understanding of cybersecurity tools, risk mitigation strategies, and best practices.
