VP of Technology – Germany

Summary

Globant is seeking a visionary VP of Technology to spearhead our expansion in Germany and Austria. This role involves leading a high-performing team to deliver innovative technology solutions that bridge the gap between businesses and consumers. You will play a crucial part in translating our capabilities into actionable initiatives that drive success, ensuring excellence in delivery through collaboration and expert orchestration.

As the VP of Technology, you will be instrumental in shaping Globant’s strategic direction in one of our most important expansion markets. Your mission includes driving our digital transformation efforts, enhancing customer experiences through technology, and ensuring that our solutions meet the highest standards of quality and security. You will work closely with the VP of Delivery and the Managing Director to deliver on our ambitious goals.

• Technology Strategy & Leadership:
  • Develop and execute a cutting-edge technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with Privacy by Design and Security by Design principles, as well as relevant EU regulations.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives across e-Commerce, Software Development, and Data Stewardship.
• Product Ownership & Development:
  • Oversee the end-to-end development of scalable and secure products.
  • Manage the intersection of Product Marketing and innovation to enhance market presence.
  • Foster the adoption of Agile methodologies for efficient delivery.

  • Act as a strategic partner to the CTO and Product Owners, advocating for innovative solutions.
• Team Leadership:
  • Mentor high-performance engineering teams and cultivate a culture of collaboration and continuous learning.
  • Ensure effective technical recruitment to build diverse and skilled teams.
• Data and Infrastructure:
  • Spearhead cloud infrastructure strategies and implement data governance protocols.

• Minimum of 5 years in leadership roles within technology, such as CTO, VP of Technology, or similar executive positions.
• Demonstrated expertise in Cloud Infrastructure, AI/ML, Dev Sec Ops , and GDPR compliance.
• Proven experience in Solution Architecture and driving digital transformation.

• Strong understanding of Enterprise Architecture, Security, Infrastructure, Agile development practices, and Dev Ops.
• Proven expertise in managing AI-driven products and digital innovation.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with GDPR and DORA regulations.
