Job Description About the RoleA specialist enterprise financial services advisory firm is seeking a Consultant (Financial Services) to help shape the future of financial services across Strategic Transformations, AI & Data Analytics, and Cybersecurity.

Key responsibilities
* Deliver impact:
Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across levels and regions to solve complex problems. Conduct research, stakeholder interviews and quantitative analysis to generate insights, define issues and design pragmatic solutions for engagements such as IT integrations, strategic reorganizations and C-level technology transformations.
* Own project work streams:
Source and synthesize information, perform analyses, and present clear, actionable findings to project teams and client stakeholders. Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of assigned work products.
* Rapid development and increased responsibility:
Build and apply analytical, technical and business skills from day one. Take on greater responsibility across client projects and internal initiatives as you progress.
* Support business development:
Contribute to proposal writing, sales collateral and external communications for client pursuits and events.
* Learning and mentorship:
Work alongside experienced consultants in technology and financial services, benefiting from structured learning and on-the-job coaching.

Candidate profile
* Educational background:
Excellent degree in an analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics) or demonstrable exceptional performance through professional experience.

* Experience:

Minimum one year of full-time professional experience in a fast-paced setting such as a startup, strategy consulting, investment banking, private equity or venture capital is preferred.

* Languages:

Fluency in English and German required; additional languages are an advantage.
* Mindset:
Entrepreneurial, proactive, comfortable taking ownership and driving initiatives.
* Analytical capability:
Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to inform decisions and optimize processes.
* Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
