Amazon is looking for ambitious, curious, and versatile candidates to join our unique world as interns. Main responsibilities include:

• Familiarize yourself with the organization and processes related to new launches and assist them
• Help the head of safety of new constructions and the safety engineer to implement excellent safety processes and operations
• Support safety systems by participating in planned inspections of buildings, machines, and jobs to prevent accidents
• Conduct and update risk assessments and professional risk analyses
• Analyze accident data and develop standards to ensure accident prevention
• Support accident investigations and prepare accident reports to identify preventive safety measures to be integrated into the safety program
• Help develop safety procedures and implement training programs to meet the safety needs of managers and associates regarding critical safety issues
• Potential relocation to the designated workplace

As a health and safety intern, you will be a strong advocate for creating and implementing safe and effective work environments. You must have excellent analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills, be an effective communicator, have a keen sense of internal customer service, and be able to work with cross-functional teams, including senior management.
