Agilist Specialist
NTT DATA Services is seeking a Mid-Level Scrum Master / Project Manager to join our team in Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX-JAL), Mexico (MX). This role combines Scrum Master responsibilities with hands-on Project Management activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrum Master Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including:
Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Sprint Retrospectives, Backlog Grooming Sessions - Support Agile best practices and help teams improve delivery effectiveness.
- Remove impediments and coordinate issue resolution with technical and business teams.
- Monitor sprint progress, team velocity, and Agile delivery metrics.
- Promote collaboration, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Assist Product Owners in backlog prioritization and sprint readiness activities.
- Project Management Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and execution tracking.
- Create and maintain project plans, RAID logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate activities across development, QA, infrastructure, business, and vendor teams.
- Track risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans.
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and provide project status updates to leadership.
- Support resource planning and capacity tracking activities.
- Ensure project documentation is properly maintained and updated.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and delivery commitments.
- Assist with release coordination and deployment planning.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Coordinator, Project Manager, or Agile Delivery role.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience managing technology projects in Agile or hybrid environments.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and multiple work streams.

- Jira

- Azure Dev Ops
- Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Agile reporting and dashboard management
