Associate Cybersecurity Analyst (Cybersecurity):
Monitoring systems, analyzing vulnerabilities, and assisting in incident response to protect the company's data and network infrastructure with an accent on implementing security controls and threat mitigation. Focus on maintaining the security posture of the European infrastructure, utilizing EDR and SIEM tools, and collaborating effectively within an international security team.

CARFAX is a data-driven product company providing comprehensive vehicle history reports to build transparency and confidence in the used car market across Europe and North America.

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats.
• Analyze vulnerabilities to enhance the company's security posture.
• Assist in responding to security incidents and performing triage.
• Help implement and manage security controls across systems and networks.
• Maintain proper documentation for security processes and incidents.
• Collaborate with international team members on security initiatives.

• Must be based in Munich
• Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science or equivalent field.
• Working experience with security event analysis on Windows and Mac.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, subnets, and VPNs.
• Familiarity with security principles like the CIA triad and least privilege.
• Basic experience with EDR/AV platforms.
• Proficiency in English required

• Experience with NIST CSF or ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Knowledge of Microsoft and AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with SIEM tools like MS Sentinel or Google Sec Ops.
• Basic log analysis and incident triage skills.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or CySA+.
