Network Deployment Lead

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Network Deployment Lead to plan, coordinate, and execute deployment of network infrastructure across DCC communities. You will lead site readiness, oversee vendors, and manage installation of routers, switches, fiber, and associated systems to AWS standards. Partner with engineering, capacity planning, and operations teams to define scope, build schedules, track risks, and maintain documentation. You'll drive continuous improvement in deployment methods, ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements, and mentor technicians while operating in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning and execution of network deployments across DCC communities
• Coordinate site readiness, equipment logistics, and installation schedules
• Oversee contractors and vendors to ensure quality and on-time delivery
• Collaborate with network engineering and capacity planning teams on design implementation
• Ensure compliance with AWS security, safety, and operational standards
• Monitor deployment progress, manage risks, and report status to stakeholders
• Maintain accurate network, asset, and configuration documentation
• Drive process improvements for deployment efficiency and scalability
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and coordinate resolution
• Mentor and guide field technicians and junior team members
