Overview

At Gallagher, our Richfield, Ohio office is currently hiring for a Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager. As the Account Manager you responsible for providing sales support for the Commercial Lines Producers. Also, you will provide customer service by handling operations of clients' insurance needs. You also will work with various personnel at their office to design proper insurance and risk management services for clients with the exception of issuing certificates of insurance which will be outsourced.

How you'll make an impact
  • Develops complete client information and applications for new and renewal business under the direction of the Producer, and management.
  • Processes change requests/endorsements, binders, account summaries, proposals, policies, lost policy releases, audit, and account balance status when requested.
  • Maintains files with proper records according to company procedures. Maintains good internal file audits results.
  • Assists in the development of strong business relationships with appropriate insurance carrier personnel. Recognizes and satisfies carrier goals and objectives in order to enhance business relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.
About You

Required:

Bachelor's degree with 0+ years client service and/or claims management experience
-OR
- High School degree/GED with 3+ years client service and/or claims management experience. Producer's License. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Appropriate licensing as required.

Preferred:
Previous insurance knowledge and experience managing client relationships. Solid financial acumen.

We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
