Account Associate

Looking for an outgoing individual who desires a career working with the leading company in insurance and financial services. A successful candidate will be motivated by helping others, closing the deal, and goal oriented. You will develop an expertise in insurance, financial services, and building relationships while being an integral part of a team handling a growing book of business. For the right individual, this could lead to an opportunity to own and operate your own State Farm Agency.

Purpose

To work as an employee of a State Farm Agent assisting the agent in marketing State Farm products and services and providing quality service to State Farm customers.

Experience and Knowledge
  • Bachelor’s Degree desirable
  • Experience in marketing and/or customer service desirable.
  • Knowledge of personal lines insurance products desirable.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implement the agency’s marketing plan at the direction of the agent.
  • Work from the agent’s office to contact prospects and current policyholders to generate interest in insurance financial review appointments.
  • Conduct needs‑based interviews in the agent’s office supported by technology.
  • Meet goals set by the agent.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, friendly, cost‑effective service and utilize it as a basis for establishing a marketing opportunity.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the agent.

    • Property and Casualty license (must be able to obtain)

    • Successfully complete all company requirements (licenses) to market and service designated State Farm products and continue to be licensed in good standing is required.
