purpose & overall relevance for the organization:

as part of our global legal team, you will look behind the scenes to experience the work of an in‑house lawyer and gain a unique insight into the day‑to‑day business of an international corporate legal department. Together with a team of experts, you will support our business leaders as a close partner in challenging legal matters and provide pragmatic legal advice.

key responsibilities:
  • support of the department in all legal matters of daily business operations including cross functional and exceptional tasks
  • support of strategic projects, providing clear as well as business‑minded legal advice to business-, function-, and project stakeholders
  • research activities in national and international context
  • active support and close cooperation with other global legal team members
key relationships:
  • local and global business leaders
  • local authorities
  • local and global hr partners
  • respective business areas as defined
knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • highly results driven and self‑motivated team player with compassion, integrity, reliability and perseverance
  • able to accept and meet deadlines, involving effective time management capacity and sense of priorities and agility
  • team player with strong interpersonal skills and can‑do mentality
  • strong interpersonal skills combined with a high degree of customer orientation

  • effective english & german presentation and communication skills
requisite education and experience / minimum qualifications:
  • first state examination in law (ideally "fully satisfactory")
  • ideally, relevant professional experience, preferably in an international company or in an international law firm
  • first legal clerk traineeship completed (ideally applying for second legal clerk traineeship /"wahlstation")
