Position: Supply Chain Agent (w/m/d)
Location: Germany

Your mission

As a Supply Chain Agent (m/f/d), you are the driving force behind our logistics operations and facility management, contributing to a smooth workflow. Together with the Logistics & Supply Chain team, you are responsible for logistics processes at our headquarters in Mohnheim am Rhein and are also the central contact person for facility management.

Your Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of all incoming goods to ensure they meet quality and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to resolve any issues with incoming shipments.
  • Accurately book all incoming goods into the ERP system in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with the procurement and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of data.
  • Manage relationships with logistics providers to ensure optimal service levels and cost efficiency.
  • Oversee the receipt of incoming biological samples, ensuring all samples are handled in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all logistics activities, including shipment documentation, inspection reports, and ERP entries.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including IATA guidelines and data protection directives.
  • Implement and monitor warehouse safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Your profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or completed training as a Logistics Specialist (m/f/d) with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK)
  • Minimum of one year of relevant professional experience
  • Proficiency in ERP systems is highly desirable
  • Strong command of German, both written and spoken; proficiency in English is advantageous
