Material Planner / Operative Buyer
Do you want to have a real impact on material availability, inventory levels and production continuity? We are looking for an experienced Material Planner / Operative Buyer to join our Supply Chain team and take ownership of material planning and operational purchasing activities.
Your role- Ensure reliable material availability for production while balancing service level and inventory
- Work actively with SAP MRP (planning parameters, signals, exceptions)
- Analyze demand signals (forecast, customer orders, consumption)
- Apply ABC / XYZ segmentation and differentiated planning strategies
- Create and release purchase orders, manage confirmations and deliveries
- Communicate daily with suppliers and resolve shortages or supply disruptions
- Reduce expediting and urgent interventions through proactive planning
- Cooperate closely with production planning, sourcing, logistics and customer service
- Contribute to continuous improvement of supply chain performance
- Experience in material planning, supply planning or operative purchasing
- Strong knowledge of SAP MRP and inventory management principles
- Analytical mindset and ability to work with data
- Ability to manage priorities in a dynamic, operational environment
- Strong communication skills and teamwork attitude
- English at a communicative level
