Here is your new challenge:- Creating and maintaining delivery schedules based on customer orders and demand forecasts
- Monitoring order processing and ensuring on-time delivery
- Analysing supply and demand, identifying gaps and proposing feasible solutions
- Identifying potential risks (e.g. material shortages, capacity constraints, fluctuations in demand) and promoting timely solutions
- Coordinating communication with customers, head office and the warehouse to fulfil customer call-offs
- Continuously improving planning processes, tools and data accuracy
- A successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics (specialising in Supply Chain Management is desirable)
- Initial professional experience in the areas described above, preferably in the automotive industry
- Knowledge of the following areas: supply chain management, transport, customs or operational shop floor processes
- Understanding of supply chain planning processes and planning tools
- Proficiency in SAP and knowledge of other analysis and optimisation tools
- Fluency in spoken and written German and English;
Knowledge of Chinese is desirable
