** to join UPM Next Generation Renewables Commercial Team. The position is located in Leuna, Germany or in Helsinki, Finland.

This includes amongst others fuels, plastics, rubbers, batteries, pulp & paper and forestry industries. We do this with a clear value proposition in the solutions we provide. ** What you’ll do
*** Lead end-to-end supply chain operations and indirect sourcing to maximize efficiency, reliability, timeliness and cost effectiveness
* Drive strategic planning and decision-making to develop and implement supply chain strategies, policies, procedures and process improvements
* Partner with senior leaders to align in and outbound supply, logistics and planning with business strategy, market needs and regulatory requirements
* Champion the S&OP (sales and operations planning) process to align production, procurement and logistics schedules to optimize margins and working capital
* Lead logistics network across relevant geographies (EMEA, NORAM, APAC) to deliver products to customers and feed stocks to plants on time and in full in fuels and chemicals environment
* Develop the supply chain and sourcing organization, capabilities and people
* Optimize inventory and working capital to support business performance targets
** Who you are
*** You have extensive leadership experience in supply chain management in an international environment
* You have proven expertise in delivering end-to-end, market-driven supply chain performance
* You have strong people leadership, stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
* You are a data-driven problem solver with a continuous improvement/lean mindset
* You have experience across operations, logistics, sourcing, and/or the integrated supply chain
* You have a university degree and 10+ years of relevant experience and speak English and possibly German or Finnish or another language
