Compensation

$20.00 per hour.

Sign‑On Bonus

Up to $1,000.00 – conditions apply.

Minimal (1‑10%).

Daily Impact

As Parking Lot Sweeper, you are at the heart of our mission, delivering essential services that help improve public safety and enhance environmental quality. You’ll manage assigned routes including shopping centers and parking lots, drive the parking lot sweeper, and operate specialized equipment to keep parking areas clean and well‑maintained.

Responsibilities
  • Review routes in advance, clarify questions, and complete assigned work on time with quality focus.
  • Complete required pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, ensuring equipment is safe and operational before starting work.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, follow traffic laws and site protocols, and handle materials per disposal and safety procedures.
  • Immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns and accurately complete required logs and paperwork.
  • Represent the company professionally and communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and clients.
  • Respond to changing conditions, solve problems as they arise, and maintain regular, predictable attendance.
Minimum

Job Requirements
  • Education:

    High School or GED.
  • Experience:

    1 year driving experience; waste & recycling services experience preferred.
  • License:
    Driver’s License.
  • Age: 21 or older.
  • Compliance:
    Maintain acceptable driving record; successfully pass MVR check, background check, DOT physical, and drug screening per company policy and applicable law.
Skills & Competencies
  • Safety & Compliance Focus:
    Follow safety procedures, conduct inspections, operate equipment responsibly, and comply with all traffic, site, and regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Execution & Reliability:
    Plan routes, complete work efficiently and accurately, adapt to changing conditions, and maintain dependable attendance.
  • Communication & Issue Reporting:
    Communicate with supervisors and teammates, represent the company professionally, and immediately report equipment issues, incidents, or safety concerns.
Physical Requirements
  • Work Environment & Exposure:
    Constant outdoor work with regular exposure to weather, elements, and traffic; occasional exposure to loud noise, dust/debris, and jarring conditions; limited exposure to chemicals.
  • Physical Demands:
    Frequent sitting and walking/standing; occasional bending, twisting, squatting, kneeling, pushing/pulling; limited stair climbing; ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs at varying heights, including overhead.
  • Cognitive & Sensory Requirements:
    Continuous reading, screen use, mental focus, and hand‑eye coordination throughout the workday.
  • Equipment & Tools:
    Operate specialized equipment and use hand controls, foot controls, and fine motor skills.
  • Safety & Protective Gear:
    Required use of PPE, including high‑visibility apparel, eye, ear, hand, foot, head, lung, and skin protection.
