Material Planning Analyst
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Material Planning Analyst located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Director, Materials the Material Planning Analyst is responsible for maintaining materials and purchasing data, supporting production with supply information, coordinating supplier contracts, ensuring Certificates of Conformance compliance, and managing outsourced parts schedules. This role ensures data accuracy, material availability, and supports high-volume manufacturing operations.
What a typical day looks like:
- Maintain accurate materials, purchasing, and supply chain data in ERP systems.
- Provide timely supply information to production and planning teams.
- Coordinate supplier contracts and maintain Certificates of Conformance.
- Create and maintain outsourced parts schedules.
- Audit and validate data integrity (e.g., quotations, discrepancies).
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and analysis (BOMs, metrics, PPV tracking).
- Collect, analyze, and present data from multiple sources.
- Identify risks and escalate issues related to KPIs and metrics.
- Track material financial performance and drive corrective actions.
- Review RMA transactions daily.
- Generate weekly purchase orders for all client parts.
- Perform data entry and maintain item master/content lists in ERP.
- Prepare DPT packing lists for repair operations (LCAD).
- Act as point of contact for consigned materials and RMA services.
- Support inventory control, production planning, and scheduling.
- Monitor production performance (downtime, OTD).
- Lead and support a small team.
- Perform supplier reporting and scorecard tracking.
- Support cost analysis (PPV, commodity spend, pricing validation).
- Support NPI supply chain transfer and risk management.
- Suggest continuous improvements in processes and communication.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in materials planning, purchasing, or supply chain.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems skills.
- Availability to support quarterly inventory counts.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic, high-volume production environments.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Supports high-volume mechanical manufacturing operations.
- Ensures material availability and continuity of production.
- Drives data accuracy and process efficiency across supply chain functions.
