Purchasing Coordinator

A growing organization is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing operations and ensure accurate tracking of orders throughout the production process. This Purchasing Coordinator will play a key role in managing purchase orders, maintaining accurate data, and coordinating with internal teams and vendors to keep products moving through each stage of production.

The ideal Purchasing Coordinator will have prior procurement experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, coordinating timelines, and supporting supply chain activities.

• Create, maintain, and manage purchase orders from initiation through completion
• Perform accurate data entry and maintain purchasing records
• Track products and materials through various stages of production
• Monitor purchase order status and follow up on outstanding items
• Communicate with internal teams regarding order updates, timelines, and potential issues
• Review purchase order information for accuracy, including quantities, dates, and product details
• Assist with reporting and data analysis using Microsoft Excel
• Maintain organized documentation related to purchasing activities

• 2+ years of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience
• Previous experience managing purchase orders and purchasing-related documentation
• Strong data entry skills with excellent attention to detail
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables
• Experience working with ERP systems or purchasing software preferred
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

• Experience with in apparel, manufacturing, retail, or consumer products industries
• Familiarity with production timelines and inventory processes
• Experience coordinating with vendors or suppliers
