Purchasing / Scheduling Employee (m/f/d) - Full-Time (38 Hours/Week)

EMKA Schmiertechnik GmbH is a medium-sized family-owned company with many years of experience in the fields of lubricants, workshop concepts and technical services. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a committed professional to join our Purchasing and Materials Planning department at the earliest possible date.

Responsibilities
  • Obtaining and comparing quotations as well as requesting information on prices and availability
  • Handling operational purchasing processes, including scheduling based on deadlines and required quantities
  • Maintaining and monitoring prices, delivery dates and purchasing-related master data
  • Communicating and corresponding with suppliers in day-to-day business
  • Handling complaints and coordinating with order processing, application engineering and logistics
  • Regular stock monitoring and supporting the continuous availability of goods
  • Preparing reports and analyses as specified by management
  • Requesting and managing long-term supplier declarations
  • Supporting supplier evaluations and the further development of our purchasing processes
  • Reviewing and approving purchasing-related invoices
Qualifications
  • Completed commercial vocational training, for example as an industrial management assistant, wholesale and foreign trade management assistant, office management assistant or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in purchasing and/or materials planning; motivated professionals returning to work are expressly welcome
  • Confident use of MS Office; experience with an ERP system is desirable
  • Professional and reliable communication skills, enjoyment of supplier contact and coordination with internal departments
  • A careful, structured and dependable way of working, combined with a good understanding of figures and deadlines
  • Strong organisational skills, initiative, a sense of responsibility and the ability to work well in a team
