Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) Supply Chain Management What lies ahead for you?

• You conduct cost and market analyses and identify new suppliers, both domestically and abroad.
• You will drive the development and implementation of purchasing strategies to optimise costs, quality and security of supply.
• You select suppliers, assess them, and conduct price and condition negotiations independently.
• You actively shape the further development of supplier relationships and supplier performance.
• In collaboration with other departments, you will identify requirements for materials and services.
• You will be responsible for the operational processing of orders and the monitoring of the entire procurement process.
• You will be involved in cross‑functional projects and in the optimisation of procurement processes in Source‑to‑Contract and Purchase‑to‑Pay.
• Complaints and delivery issues will be handled by you to ensure compliance with quality and delivery requirements.
• The checking of invoices and the authorisation of payments following successful delivery and quality control also fall within your area of responsibility.

• You have a completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable qualification.
• You have professional experience in strategic or technical purchasing, ideally in an industrial environment.
• You are characterised by your negotiation skills, assertiveness, and in‑depth knowledge of contract law.
• As a team player, you value close collaboration with colleagues and work in a structured, independent, and solution‑oriented manner.
• You enjoy working with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and analytical thinking.
• Technical understanding of manufacturing processes and industrial products would be an advantage.
• Proficiency in handling ERP systems, MS Office, and modern digital tools is a matter of course for you.
• Excellent German and English language skills, as well as intercultural competence, round off your profile.
